Today is James Connolly’s 101st anniversary. My Song ‘May 12th, 1916 – A Song for James Connolly’, will be on my next album which will be out in September.
In the meantime here’s an impromptu live performance of the song with Glen Hansard and his band including Javier Más from the Leonard Cohen band.
